YOLO Board announced their 2nd Annual Mileage Builder Series will return to Baytowne Marina in Sandestin. Presented by Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort and Sandestin Real Estate, the race event consists of a series of four endurance-building races that will take place from May to August: May 26th (one mile), June 22nd (two miles), July 21st (three miles) and August 11th (four miles). Race paddlers will vie for the champion title to be awarded after the final race in August.

This series is designed for the beginner paddler who wants to move to the race level and broaden their distance base, as well as for the elite racer who wants to stay fine tuned,” said Jeff Archer, co-founder of YOLO Board.

A one-time season race entry fee is $85 per person for all four races (or a $35 day-of entry fee) and includes an event t-shirt, four pre-race clinics and other swag. Race divisions include stock 12′, 12’ 6” race, 14’ race and unlimited. All board classes are welcome.

yolomiles580 300x248 YOLO Board Mileage Builder Returns to SandestinBefore each race event, YOLO Team riders will host a paddle clinic covering everything from paddling technique to buoy turns to training strategy, allowing paddlers the opportunity to learn the latest tips from the pros. The schedule for all Saturday events (May 26th, July 21st and August 11th) is Registration at 8:00AM, Paddle Clinic at 8:30AM and Race Start at 9:00AM. The schedule for the June 22nd race event, held in conjunction with the Emerald Coast Blue Marlin Classic, is Registration at 5:15PM, Paddle Clinic at 5:45PM and Race Start at 6:30PM.
