Sandestin Selected for Coastal Living Magazine Cover

Coastal Living is the premier magazine for people who love the coast and its magnificent beaches.  It is the ultimate magazine and resource for coastal décor, food, lifestyle trends, travel and more.

The scenic cover photo was staged and taken on the beach of Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort by Julia Rutland, Coastal Living’s senior food and entertainment editor. The photos on the cover and in the 2-page layout features glowing sea-inspired carved pumpkins sitting on the sugar white sand and the beautiful Emerald Coast of the Gulf of Mexico in the background.

This issue of the magazine also includes an inside, two-page spread of a lineup of creatively carved pumpkins, an image that was taken on Sandestin’s Horseshoe Bayou dock at sunset by award winning photographer David Hillegas.  The photo captures the still water and the calm, coastal beauty of the area.

In celebration of the October issue, Ms. Rutland will have a special magazine autograph signing on Saturday, October 6 from 5:30 to 6:30 PM at Sandestin’s Baytowne Marina Grille.”
