In a recent online feature, iVillage honored Sandestin as “striking the perfect balance between laid-back and action-packed.” iVillage is the largest content-driven community for women online, and is part of the NBC Universal Women and Lifestyle Entertainment Networks Group.
In the article, iVillage referred to Sandestin’s Village of Baytowne Wharf, restaurants, zip lining, a ropes course and sunset concerts, plus other resort features like the marina, which features boating, jet ski rentals and stand-up paddle boarding.
This recognition is one of many honors for Sandestin. The property has also been named “Best Resort” by the readers of Emerald Coast Magazine and Destin Magazine. Sandestin’s championship golf courses, tennis club and annual events such as the Sandestin Wine Festival and the Emerald Coast Blue Marlin Classic have also received high praise.
