The 4th of July

Independence Day and the beach go together like mom and apple pie (or some other appropriately patriotic metaphor).

In addition to truly spectacular fireworks displays in virtually every beach community along Scenic Highway 30A, there’s also an annual Fourth of July Parade that runs from Seagrove Beach to Seaside. It’s a decidedly small town affair with decorated bicycles, golf carts, cars, and even dogs.

Free concerts, food, fun and, of course, fireworks can also be found in the neighboring communities of WaterColor, Rosemary Beach, Sandestin, Grayton Beach and Alys Beach.

For a complete schedule of all 30A Independence Day activities, be sure to watch 30A.com’s daily events calendar.
