Santa Skypes at Sandestin

When: November 2- December 7, 2011; 4 – 5 p.m.

Talk to Santa at Sandestin (free) via SKYPE. NEW THIS YEAR!  Santa goes techno and will also do personal SKYPES with children/families from his workshop to talk about their upcoming trip to Sandestin. This Holiday season, families can bring the magic of Christmas to their home with a personal Skype with Santa Claus. Santa will be available to Skype November 2- December 7 on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 4- 5 p.m. Simply call him at SKYPE location name, SandestinResort. Ice Skating Rink

When: November 4 – February 5, 2012; 4 – 10 p.m.

Where: The Village of Baytowne Wharf

For those visitors who miss the cold and ice, the ice skating rink at The Village of Baytowne Wharf is the perfect opportunity to get into the winter spirit. The seasonal ice skating rink has become a local holiday favorite. For $10 guests can skate for an hour and a half. Skate rental is available for $2. The first hour of each day is reserved for “kids skate” for youths 12 and under. Sensational Sandestin Thanksgiving Brunch

Here Comes Santa Claus

When: November 25-26, 2011

Where: The Village of Baytowne Wharf

The Holiday Celebration begins Friday, November 25 from 11am-5pm. Join us in the Events Plaza for a day of inflatable fun. Race thru the obstacle course or jump around in the bounce house. End the evening with family movie night! We will be showing a holiday classic, Miracle on 34th Street at 7pm. 

The fun continues Saturday, November 26 with a Christmas Parade, Tree Lighting, and of course, Santa Claus! Welcome Santa to Baytowne and cheer him on as he lights the Village Christmas Tree. Stick around for a preview to our new, choreographed light show, 12 Nights of Lights, and watch as fireworks light up the sky over the lagoon. Make a lantern, with Abrakadoodle, for the upcoming Baytowne Lantern Parade as you enjoy a choir singing your holiday favorites! And last, but not least, visit Kris Kringle himself! Santa Tuck-Ins

When: Nov. 25 – Dec. 18, 2011

Sandestin guests can bring the magic of Christmas to their vacation rental with a personal visit from Santa Claus. Parents are welcome to take pictures as Santa offers each child a personalized gift. After going over his list and checking it twice, Santa will read a Christmas story.  A portion of the proceeds go to Toys for Tots. Call for reservations and cost. 12 Nights of Lights

When: Wednesday, Friday and Saturday Nights in December 2011

For the month of December, enjoy a festive light show in the Events Plaza set to your favorite holiday music every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday leading up to Christmas at 6, 7, & 8pm. Baytowne Holiday Lantern Parade

When: December 17, 2011; 6 p.m.

In celebration of the holiday season, The Village of Baytowne Wharf and Abrakadoodle presents the Holiday Paper Lantern Parade. This community event will feature commissioned paper lanterns in the shapes of iconic symbols of the holiday season. Sandestin homeowners help us kick off the evening with a lighted, golf cart Christmas Parade at 6pm. We invite all individuals and groups to participate by making their own paper lanterns. Baytowne Countdown
